Why Donate?
The Mount Prospect Historical Society is an independent, privately funded organization. As a result, we face challenges in meeting our budget year in and year out, with the current economic turbulence as an added trial. Supporting the work of the Mount Prospect Historical Society is easy, and there are multiple ways to help.
How Can I Help?
There are many different ways to contribute to the Mount Prospect Historical Society’s operating fund. This allows us to continue our many exhibits, programs, presentations and publications that we offer year-round in accordance with our mission of sharing the history of the community of Mount Prospect and the surrounding areas.
CONTRIBUTIONS
General monetary donations are extremely valuable to the Society. As we essentially operate on a “pay-as-you-go” basis, these donations are able to keep us on our toes as unexpected occurrences come up. As we are a registered 501 (c)3 charitable organizations, all monetary donations are, of course, tax-deductible.
MEMORIALS
We exist to tell the stories of our community. This is especially true when it comes to the stories of our departed loved ones. Memorials to the Historical Society are gratefully accepted, and can be implemented in accordance with specific wishes of the deceased and their family.
