2025 Junior Camp Counselor Information

Help children explore history by becoming a Junior Camp Counselor for the Mount Prospect Historical Society’s youth programs!

The Mount Prospect Historical Society (MPHS) offers five summer programs for young historians ages 6 to 11 years old: History Camp, Prairie Kids I & II, The Science of History, If You Lived, and Art Fusion: Creativity on Campus. Each program features crafts and activities inspired by historical topics. More information about each of these programs can be found here.

Junior Camp Counselors are expected to arrive at MPHS half an hour before their assigned program and should expect to stay approximately half an hour after the program ends.
