Who will tell Mount Prospect’s story of the COVID-19 Pandemic?

The Mount Prospect Historical Society (MPHS), in cooperation with the Mount Prospect Public Library (MPPL), Mount Prospect Community Engagement Committee, the Mount Prospect Park District (MPPD) and River Trails Park District (RTPD) is collecting COVID-19 Pandemic memories from Mount Prospect residents, businesspeople and associates.

Residents and others affiliated with Mount Prospect are asked to share photos, videos, essays, impressions and poems to help others put this experience into a larger context and provide those who come after us with a snapshot of what life has been like during this COVID-19 Pandemic  Any local COVID-19-related topic is welcome.  Please consider contributing to this important archive. At the conclusion of  the project, the Society  will also consider adding physical works such as journals, letters etc. to the physical collection.

You can view selected photos and essays from this project in the Mount Prospect Pandemic Moments collection on the Illinois Digital Archives.
