Concord, MS North Bridge

 

April 19, 1775; For a decade, American colonists had an ongoing political feud with the British government. But on this day, it came to a climax when the first shots were fired in what would become a war lasting almost 8 years. British regulars clashed with Massachusetts colonial militia and minute men at Lexington, Concord’s North Bridge, and on the road back to Boston.
