A beautiful sampler quilt is being raffled by the "Sew Bee It" Quilters to benefit the School House Fund. It is 72" x 72", suitable for a wall hanging or a twin bed. Machine pieced and quilted in colors of burgundy, green and white, it's displayed on the porch of the Museum.

Meetings are on the fourth Wednesday of each month, 9:30am to noon in the MPHS Education Center at no charge.

Jo Ann Fabrics of Arlington Heights and the Janome Sewing Machine Company sponsored a blanket-making event for the Project Linus chapter based in Northbrook. A raffle ticket was received for each quilt donated. The Sew Bee It Circle made about 50 of the 150 quilts received, one of which produced the winning ticket.

A drawing within the Circle then awarded the machine to Circle member, Pat Denaxas.
